The Baccalaureate in Sciences and Humanities is AUREA's broadest upper secondary programme. It does not specialise: it prepares. Three years of mathematics, natural sciences, language, social sciences and English, with a growing load of research and project work.
It is designed for the fifteen-year-old who knows they want to carry on studying but not what. On finishing twelfth grade, the leaver can apply to any of AUREA's six degrees with no catch-up courses, and their record is valid at any university in the country.

By the time you graduate, you will be able to:
Understands and writes academic texts in Spanish and English.
Applies the scientific method in laboratory and field projects.
Analyses social problems with evidence rather than opinion.
Sustains a year-long research project and defends it before a panel.
Uses digital tools for collaborative work and for data analysis.

Requirements
- A ninth-grade certificate, or proof of being enrolled in it.
- The student's birth certificate and a copy of their ID.
- A parent's or guardian's ID.
- Two passport-sized photographs.
- Placement test in mathematics and Spanish.
- Family interview with the guidance team.

About Sciences and Humanities
Yes. Tenth grade is common to all three baccalaureates, so the change is settled with a request to the Registry before enrolment closes for the second year, with no extra courses.
Twelfth grade includes Careers Guidance and a six-week preparation block. An AUREA leaver going on to one of the institution's own degrees is exempt from the entrance test.
Yes, with the same syllabus and the same teaching staff. The labs and the sports centre are open until 18:30.
