Technical Baccalaureate in Computing
You leave twelfth grade knowing how to program. That is not a figure of speech.
The Technical Baccalaureate in Computing hands over two things at once: the school-leaving award that opens the university door, and a technical skill that is already worth something at work. The three years combine the common sciences and humanities core with six hundred hours of workshop.
The third year is spent half in the classroom and half at a partner employer. It is a real placement, assessed by a supervisor at the company and by an AUREA teacher, and it is a graduation requirement. A third of leavers are offered a job by the company they trained at.

01Graduate profile
By the time you graduate, you will be able to:
Builds web applications with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and a server-side language.
Designs and queries relational databases.
Installs, configures and documents small local networks.
Diagnoses and resolves first- and second-line support incidents.
Works with version control, and in a team on a shared repository.
Documents their work in correct technical Spanish.

Requirements
- A ninth-grade certificate, or proof of being enrolled in it.
- The student's birth certificate and a copy of their ID.
- A parent's or guardian's ID.
- Placement test in mathematics and logical reasoning.
- An interview with the technical lead.
- A placement undertaking signed by the guardian.

About the Technical Baccalaureate in Computing
That depends on the employer. AUREA does not make it a condition: the placement is a teaching exercise and its assessment is academic. About half the partner employers offer a stipend.
None of their own. The lab has one workstation per student and is open outside class hours. Anyone who has a laptop may use it; the programme's software is either free or educationally licensed.
Up to four first-year subjects, subject to a credit-transfer assessment by the Academic Registry.
