Industries
Experience applied to every industry
The technical capability is the same; what changes is the constraint. These are the six where the group has a permanent operation.
01 Industry
Manufacturing and process
Plants where an hour of downtime is measured in product not made. We work on the existing line: extensions without stopping production, utilities under a contracted availability, and measurement that turns loss into a number somebody can attack.
- Line extension within a bounded shutdown window
- Utilities: steam, compressed air, refrigeration and process water
- Predictive maintenance on rotating equipment
- Batch traceability and statistical process control
- Energy efficiency by consumption centre
Application
A three-line food plant: consumption was instrumented per line and the staggered start-up of the compressors was rescheduled. Contracted peak demand came down without touching production.
02 Energy
Generation, transmission and distribution
Assets answerable to a regulator and to a demand curve. We design, build and operate substations, lines and generating plant, with the technical file the inspectorate will ask for.
- Medium- and high-voltage substations
- Transmission and distribution lines
- Integration of distributed generation and storage
- Protection, automation and telecontrol
- Maintenance under a committed availability
Application
A 138 kV substation extended while live: the switching was carried out in two six-hour night windows, with the sequence rehearsed beforehand on a protection simulator.
03 Infrastructure
Civil works and networks
Works handed over to a public authority or a concessionaire that have to last for decades. Structures, water, roads and technical buildings, with quality control documented down to each individual pour.
- Concrete and steel structures
- Potable water and sewerage networks
- Roads, drainage and retaining works
- Technical and industrial buildings
- Rehabilitation of existing infrastructure
Application
Rehabilitation of a 42 km trunk main with district metering and sectorisation, carried out in sections so that supply was maintained throughout the works.
04 Technology
Critical IT facilities
Data halls and control centres where the electrical installation and the cooling are the service, not the building. Design, construction and operation under an availability commitment with liquidated damages attached.
- Data hall design and construction
- Uninterruptible power, standby and transfer
- Precision cooling and aisle containment
- Infrastructure monitoring and capacity management
- Cyber security for the industrial layer
Application
A 180 kW hall redesigned with cold-aisle containment and variable-speed control on the precision units, without upgrading the incoming supply.
05 Logistics
Terminals, warehouses and transport
Facilities where performance is measured in moves per hour. Works, equipment and systems for terminals, distribution centres and marshalling yards, with the operation measured before and after.
- Marshalling yards, pavements and terminal works
- Cargo handling equipment and its maintenance
- Yard management and access control systems
- Unit traceability and dwell times
- Energy efficiency in refrigeration and lighting
Application
A distribution centre with automated access control and dynamic bay allocation: dwell time per unit came down without adding headcount.
06 Corporate sector
Offices, campuses and owned assets
Corporate buildings and campuses where the cost of running them is decided at design stage. Technical design, construction, and an operation afterwards measured on consumption, comfort and continuity.
- Building and campus technical services
- Energy management and building automation
- Electrical continuity for critical areas
- Operation and maintenance of property assets
- Code compliance and building certification
Application
A 14,000 m² corporate headquarters with climate and lighting automation zoned by actual occupancy, plus a quarterly review of the consumption curve.
